Mrs. Caran Cope-Fahy is an Art Educator whose love and enthusiasm of the arts has motivated children since 1985. She obtained her BS in Education from the University of North Texas in 1985 with a degree in Elementary Education and a certification for Elementary Art. After graduating, she taught art for Northwood Hills Elementary in the Richardson Independent School District in Texas for 8 years, where several of her students excelled and received statewide recognition each year.

When Caran relocated to Southern California in 1994, she identified the absence of art in the elementary school curriculum. Recognizing the need and benefits of a disciplined-based art program, she developed Fine Art Express. These parent-funded after school art classes are based on the techniques and mediums used by the Great Masters of Art. For further information and references, see "What people are saying" about Fine Art Express.
